Texas Roadhouse - High Point

Taylor provided excellent service! I appreciated the online waitlist feature. We arrived and were seated in just 5 minutes. The food was delicious; my husband and son had filets while I ordered the salmon. The salmon was flavorful, though slightly overcooked. The steaks, however, were cooked to perfection.

At 4:30 PM, the restaurant was not busy. We ordered our steaks medium, but they arrived well done and charred, making them tough and inedible. When we asked the waitress to recook them, she seemed annoyed, as if we were bothering her. We had to request things multiple times. We sat down at 4:30 and didn't receive our food until 5:30. You'd expect a steakhouse to serve proper steaks, not to overcook them. It's disappointing to see how the service has declined.

Love Taylor and her amazing service. Ask for her when u go in and she will take wonderful care of you. She was so great tonight and not once did we ask for anything. She brought out refills without us asking and had a smile on her face the whole time!!!! Please give her recognition and a promotion. She deserves it.

2-hour wait with a party of eight starting at 5:30 p.m. An extra hour wait for food made for a late dinner with a couple of hungry kids. I ordered a medium-well steak which arrived medium-rare and tough. I'm guessing it was misunderstood. I would have sent it back. But, I was already very tired of waiting. Despite my disappointing experience with the steak condition, everything was tasty. I will also have to note that bathroom conditions were very poor. Females in my party reported that three of the four stalls were marked as out-of-service. The men's restroom had overflowing trash cans and was overrun with used paper towels. Part of the fault goes to lazy clientele. A quick push returned about a third of the main trash can capacity. But, for conditions as bad as the photo I posted, the bathroom had probably gone all day, completely unmonitored.

Well organized system to get you seated. The service was top notch, the bartender took care of us. He was on his game!! The food....well the steak was one of the best I have had in a while!!
