I tried this place for the first time yesterday and had really great expectations, but the food was not good at all. I always see cars there at dinner time so I assumed that it would be really good. My boyfriend and I ordered two plates, one steak and shrimp and one steak and chicken, and my boyfriend got a sushi roll plate. As soon as we began eating, I opened my plate and both the rice and meat just looked plain. There was no seasoning on anything and it looked like the steak had just been boiled in water rather than grilled. The taste was so bad, it just had NO flavor. I have never left a bad review and I really hate to because I love supporting local and small businesses, but I just wasted $60 on food that was not even close to filling or tasteful. My boyfriend also said that his meal lacked seasoning and he took one bite of the sushi (5 piece godzilla roll) and threw it away because he said he couldn’t even eat it. The sushi was $16.. I feel bad for posting this but I just had to tell the truth. I wish I would have seen a review like this before wasting my money. I am a college student out of state so $60 is a lot for me and I just wish I would have gone somewhere else.
Sushi is amazing! Hibachi was just okay. Proportion was just a bit too small and the plate was too bland without shrimp sauce.
Sushi is always fresh and delicious. My husband and I love it and our 5 year old loves the volcano roll.
PLEASE DONT EAT HERE !!!! Just rude ! We had an order today 10/24/2022 on it uber eats and we received the order just fine via the delivery driver. The items were packaged nicely and the food was still warm. We opened our shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice to find that our rice was plain fried rice. We called the restaurant immediately and asked if it was a mistake and the young lady on the phone asked what I assumed to be the owner or cook… and she immediately said we were lying ! I then heard the young lady say “ Mimi there were two orders for Uber eats one with plain fried rice and the other with chicken and shrimp. She then gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me if I want I can come back up there and they will remake it. I said I couldn’t at the moment that was the whole reason of me ordering delivery. She then tells me “ well we’re busy in the middle of a market rush , so I don’t know what else to tell you”. I said sheesh you don’t have to be so rude over YOUR mistake! Some people are unbelievable. I usually love SAKE, and I typically order there a few times a week. Never again after being treated like this.
