Plank Street Tavern - High Point

Had no idea this place was right across street from ballpark. It's a hidden gem Had a dog with me so we sat outside on the patio out back. Nice place inside. Band was setting up as we left. Cool setup with band playing above the patio on the ledge of the upper parkingwas lot. A neighbor told me about a drink called the Orange Crush.....fresh squeezed orange juice, triple sec, vodka and club soda. Not my usual drink but I tried it and I liked it. The bartender said it was a Maryland drink from a former bartender from there.

Nice speak easy vibe.. live music on weekends. Friendly place with personable owners. If you’re a bourbon connoisseur, try the ‘Rabbit Hole’ pricey and worth every cent.. would recommend checking Plank Street Tavern out when you get the chance..

I've been going to Plank Street for a few years now because they have the BEST cocktails around! Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

GREAT BAR! Only found out about Plank Street a few months ago but wish I have know about since living in the area! Bartenders are phenomenal, drinks are a fair price, and the atmosphere is amazing. I will miss coming here when I move in a month! Definitely check this place out!
