The restaurant was not even half full and waited for our salads for 20 minutes. When we finally saw our server and asked about waiting, his answer was that they should be out soon, our salad guy is really slow. Salads finally arrived and I had ordered mine without onions, but it came with onions. I waited so long to get the salad, so I didn't complain. Our server saw how I chose the onions and never offered to take them back to repair them correctly. Instead, our salad type was not reading the tickets well and went away. For the most part our food was good; my husband's steak was overcooked and his potato was undercooked. The only time we saw our server throughout the meal was when he left our table. He never showed our table so that all our bread plates and salad bowls were stacked at the end of the table. We were never offered refill on our drinks and had to ask another server that delivered our food for the additional conditions we needed to forward it to our server and he delivered it. I waited for 10 years for tables and on my worst day never gave service as tonight. This will definitely be our last visit to this place.
We ate dinner at Outback tonight because my husband was given a gift card by a friend. We had never been before, and I'm glad that it was covered by a gift card for the most part. I'll start with the positive, which was that our server was very attentive, polite, and our drinks stayed filled. However, the service really didn't stand up to the poor experience we had with the quality of food. The appetizer wasn't bad, but realistically, it's very hard to mess up fries that are covered in cheese and bacon. My husband's sirloin had the strangest texture that I've ever encountered in a steak (it was somehow chewy but not all at the same time), wasn't really seasoned, and left an odd, slightly charred taste in the mouth. My chicken was decent, but nothing special, and definitely not worth the price for a piece of fried chicken breast. The creamed spinach was the pretty terrible it basically tasted like creamy grass clippings. My mashed potatoes were basically just potatoes, no seasoning, no butter, no liquid to speak of, and had a sort of film over them that require some stirring to get rid of. The only really decent part of the actual meal was the mac and cheese, but it was very, very peppery. Almost overwhelmingly so. Service was great, but it seems like the kitchen may have some major issues. It's a definite no for us moving forward, especially with so many other great options in the area.
Absolutely ? fantastic. Got the lobster tail for the first time. Enjoyed everything. Food, service, restaurant in all. You need to ask for Terrence. He is great and on point. He knows customer service and takes care of all your needs.
Overall the Victoria filet mignon was what you would expect from a filet. Definitely a good option if you?re not up for cooking or want to spend real steakhouse money. This location just like many other restaurants changed with covid. I swore I remember the food being more flavorful. When picking up food, it takes awhile to receive it. I wish they would just be upfront that they?re short on staff and it may be slow. That way whom ever is pickup the food isn?t waiting 45min+ after being told the food is ready.
Had a wonderful time and experience here! Waitress was attentive and helpful. She gave us some great suggestions which made it easier to pick what to eat. Would definately go back if in the area again! Last time I was in an Outback Steakhouse was 10 years ago, so it was nice to go back to one and see the quality of food service is being maintained.
