Liz's - High Point

This is my family’s favorite sushi restaurant! They have the best specialty sushi rolls and by far the most unique with their house made sauces. I worked in sushi restaurants for 8 years and now live in California with endless access to variety of sushi restaurants but haven’t found one yet to beat this place. I highly recommend the boger roll, White Castle, and the flaming shrimp roll! Definitely a hidden gem in NC! Tell them Sarah sent ya :

Flaming shrimp sushi, just get it. You won’t be disappointed, I promise. The name may sound over the top, but it’s simply an accurate description. Everything was delicious!

I was truly impressed with this restaurant, which I decided to try based on its positive reviews. I ordered a special sushi roll—though I can't remember its name—and it came out on fire, which was both beautiful and quite impressive. The service was excellent too. I drove 30 miles just to experience this new sushi spot, and I definitely plan to go back. My total bill came to about $26, which included some sake, a large roll, and a delicious ginger salad.

I dined at this restaurant for the first time a few days ago, and I was impressed by the freshness and incredible taste of the food. I can’t wait to return and indulge in extra white sauce next time—so delicious!

The sushi was exactly what I was looking for! It was absolutely delicious; I ordered the volcano roll, and it was overflowing with warmth and flavor. I had come to this restaurant a couple of years ago for hibachi and wasn't particularly impressed, but this time the service and the sushi more than made up for it.
