Austin's - High Point

Went for the prime rib which was just ok. I left most of it on the plate. My wife couldn’t eat her chicken wrap. She ate the fries. The place needs a total overhaul. There’s a nasty mop bucket kinda smell when you walk in the door. Very much the same smell as IHop on north main st. The carpet should be pulled up or at least vacuumed. Overall our experience here was just sad. If you want to try Austin’s you better do it now. Parking: There’s plenty of parking with even more open spaces coming soon.

We had the worst experience. The service was terrible. The manager used nasty language in front of my grandkids and nieces. The police were called because we received uncooked chicken, I ordered fries with no bacon but there was bacon on it. The alfredo was horrible and tasteless. We had 5 kids, two of them ordered burgers that were burnt. I ordered a ribeye steak and it looked like a strip steak. I consumed none of my meal but the manager expected me to pay. The waitress left us sitting for 15 minutes before checking on our party of 14. We are visiting from Ohio and wanted to enjoy our family. And they were nasty. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to a starving person.

Even though there was a minor incident there that night, it didn't effect our experience. The staff was A1, food was good, drinks on point and we plan to return.
