Royal Oak - High Peak

I have visited this restaurant in New Mills multiple times and to be honest, there aren't many options to choose from. It is one of the two pubs in or around the city center. Unfortunately, it is a Robinsons pub so the beer selection is limited, but the staff and the atmosphere are fantastic. The other pub appears to be a free house, but when I visited, it felt like being in the bar scene from the original Star Wars movie so I did not enjoy it.

This lovely local pub is very welcoming, with a great selection of beers and lagers. In fact, we enjoyed everything about it. We are local residents and will definitely be returning.

Located just a few minutes' walk from Torrs Riverside Park, this charming pub boasts friendly staff and a strong local vibe. Though they do not serve food, they kindly suggested that we could purchase sandwiches or cake from nearby shops and bring them to enjoy in the pub.

Great pub. has sky sports for football and nice staff.

Great pub. Great ales. Great people. Dog Friendly. Could not ask for more.
