The service at this restaurant was very poor. The ambiance of the pub is lovely and the food is enjoyable, but our experience on a Saturday was disappointing. Despite the pub not being very busy, we had to wait a long time for our food. We ordered at 3:30 and didn't receive our starter until 4:10. Even after asking about our main at 4:30, we still had to wait. The staff member we asked never returned to update us. When our food finally arrived, there was no apology for the wait, no offer of cutlery, and no inquiry about our needs. The staff simply placed the food on our table and walked away. Overall, we were not satisfied with the service and will not be returning to eat here.

Issues with Guinness a drink I’ve drunk, poured, watched being brewed, trained in how to serve and consumed many times my own body weight in over 30 years.

Comfortable, relaxing atmosphere and excellent service. The food was very good and well priced.

Staff were lovely considering how hot it was, how busy there were too. Food was quick and really good.
