This is a lovely, traditional village pub with a very welcoming landlady. My husband and I feel lucky that we stumbled across this gem when we were staying in the village. They offer a range of cask ales a bonus for my husband. It's such a comfortable place to relax, drink and chat a welcome change to up market wine bars, which we find intimidating. We were about to leave after our first drink but the landlady called us over and introduced us to a couple of the locals. We ended up staying until closing time and had a really good night. We'll definitely be back!

I visited The Forrsters Inn yesterday with my partner and baby for a Sunday afternoon outing, and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent, and the roast was fantastic! It’s such a welcoming pub. The ladies behind the bar were friendly and warm. We will definitely be back!
