Mama Venezia Pizza - Hicksville

Usually pretty good, but not this time. Meatballs and sauce had almost no seasoning. Calamari sauce was good, but the Calamari itself was like eating dried rubber bands. Very disappointed.

Food is always great.Delivery ? ..........Not so much tonight.Baked pasta dish was actually left hanging on my front door handle. Let me write that again. Food was left hanging on my front door handle ! Ring doorbell was pressed after it was left on the handle. And as food tends to do in gravity , it leaked out from being sideways and was a sloppy , soupy mess.Since my order is not expensive I always tip about 50% , which the driver knows beforehand on the Slice app. From now on it'll be in cash so they have to physically hand it to me.

We’ve been coming in here for a while. We sit and eat. My kid goes to school a few blocks away and we don’t live in the neighborhood. Sometimes we have activities in the neighborhood. So it pays to just eat here go to our activity and then head home. The food is edible. But to sit in this place? Every single time it’s been the same thing. 15 to 20 kids from the high school across the street. Possibly four of them are eating. The rest of them are going berserk. The five guys behind the counter are all , loud and screaming and laughing like they’re at a Sunday barbecue. You can’t even sit in this place and eat in peace it’s pandemonium. The kids from the high school, screaming the “N” word as as both a noun and adjective in every sentence. My kid just told me about 10 minutes ago? That we are done with this place and we’re never coming in here again, lol. They give you your food on the cheapest paper plate on the planet. And they don’t give you any trays. So if you order three slices and a drink and some garlic knots? You got to make three trips back-and-forth to the table. I gotta agree with my kid on this one. We’re not coming back. I’m sitting in the parking lot asking myself? Why the fudge do I even come in this place?

Been enjoying their pizza, heroes and all their dishes, soups and salads since 2002. Most recent order did not disappoint. My eggplant parm hero was as fresh as they come. Only fresher would've been my own. Couldn't finish it the first day so I tucked it in the fridge. Went to reheat it but not before I deconstructed it to ensure each element was properly reheated. Let me tell you this reheated eggplant parm was as good as the first half. Eggplant as with all Italian food is always better after refrigerating overnight. Just needed to say the food here is not only great the day of purchase but improves when reheated. Oh and of course the pizza was great as usual day of and reheated. Thanks guys and ladies for the great food and service
