Cook Out - Hickory

I ordered the BBQ platter, and when I got home, I found barely more than a tablespoon of chopped BBQ on the plate. I understand that food costs have gone up, but I would prefer to see prices raised rather than having the quantity and quality diminished. I won't be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

During my last visit to the cookout, the person taking our order was quite rude. They were very loud when taking our order and, despite me repeating it several times, it was still incorrect. We ended up with no sauces and no napkins with our meal, which was really disappointing. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

What has happened to this restaurant? Our last two orders were incorrect. The drinks were wrong, and we received the wrong milkshake and food items as well. When did they change their burgers? They now resemble McDonald's sliders, whereas they used to serve a hearty, backyard-style burger. The quality has really declined. Even at the drive-thru, the experience feels unprofessional, as if they're more focused on ranting than on fulfilling customer orders. We've been customers for years, but we won’t be returning.

I paid $20 for a cooktop, milkshake one side of white cheddar cheese bits. they all forgot. I paid $20, I didn't notice until I got home bc I drove, and I live 25 minutes away.

Let me also echo the words of a reviewer above, in saying, I adore Cook-Out Food! I have never had a completely horrible experience, and even though the burgers at this location will not be on my plate from here on, I will be going to other locations in the future. Generally I give them a hard 3.5-4 's... but today?... oh Lord... I ⁷ Ordered a Cookout burger with fries hushpuppies... I got a burger that was only half cooked and cheese bites instead of hushpuppies...Went back with my tray and receipt, explained nicely to the young black girl at the window what the problem was. Did she offer to redo the order or give me a refund? No. Just shut the window, went back, and got me a new tray with a burger and hushpuppies... No fresh fries. Didn 't say a word... Just handed it to me and shut the window...So i get home, and guess what?This burger was MAYBE a 1/4 the way cooked... Even redder than the one before.Not wasting my time going back.Shakes are good. Customer Service doesn 't seem to care too much that particular shift that particular location...(night shift/hwy 127 Hickory, NC)...
