Sessions is a great place to get a cup of coffee because they use quality roasted coffee from Arcade coffee roasters in Riverside. However, I think their sizes are too big. I ordered a small cappuccino that came in a 16oz cup with a double shot of espresso on the side. The espresso was really good! Arcade is personally one of my favorites. But because the size of my drink was too big the coffee was drowned out by the taste of steamed milk and foam. A coffee shop is only as good as their espresso drinks and the quality is just lacking slightly. If they scaled their sizes down from a 16oz to a 12oz I believe it would even out much better. Still better than Tonyan though
Only two of us getting coffee, we waited for over five minutes before they took our order, and waited another ten plus before it was ready...very lackadaisical attitude. There was plenty of room for the two of us to have our meeting, and no foot traffic during our stay to speak of, and since there were only two other people sitting at a distant table, we were able to conduct our conversation with focus.
I loved the industry/LA coffee house vibe and wish they opened up other locations closer to the freeway! I ordered their classic honey cinnamon latte and enjoyed it. The yellow chairs are comfy, too. I was surprised at how spacious this place was. It's definitely bigger inside than you would think from the small door. I recommend bringing friends here who are visiting from out of town or stopping by for a peaceful beverage while running errands. My breakfast sandwich was tasty but a little small for the price. I would stick with the drinks. Smoothies are delicious!
Sessions Coffee House is one of very few third wave coffee shops in the High Desert and apparently this location used to be Starbucks. The coffee shop is located 9 miles (or 15 minutes of local drive off I 15 freeway and parking was not an issue (sharing same parking lot as Stater Bros. The restroom was relatively clean my friend literally had used it twice before we left. If you put a blindfold and don't tell you where this shop is located, then the menu looks like your typical menu from third wave coffee shops in Los Angeles food includes bagel, banana nut bread, breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, muffin, and most importantly avocado toast. The espresso menu also includes red eye coffee you will find cold brew here. The staff said their honey cinnamon latte is the most popular drink and other specialty drinks include lavender latte, rose latte, chili mocha, and caramel brulee latte. Honey cinnamon latte (hot, 16 oz. $5.25 : A pretty good drink as sweetness was right with good foam texture. Overall this is a pretty solid coffee shop and a solid 4.5 star on honey cinnamon latte bump up to 5 star on comfortable interior setting (long table, couch, two seater tables friendly service. P.S. Outdoor tables aren't available too hot to sit outside anyway.
