We went to have lunch after a wonderful morning looking for bargains together in the market on Thursday . After putting everything into the car we headed to are favourite place locally for lunch. Our neighbours came too as we wanted to say thank you...dog sitting the week before. We were greeted with smiles and looked round to see plenty of locals eating happily. After ordering drink we had roast cockerel in beer or slow roasted pork. The starter was pate with salad or boiled egg, Sara wanted a tomatoe salad because she didn't like either of the starters , they were happy to accommodate this . After are food arrived with plenty of fresh hand cooked chips and salad we had more wine. The deserts were so tempting we all had one , apple pie with ice cream and cream , creme brûlée or cafe gaumonde (celection of three mini puddings and very strong coffee) we all had different things and loved them all and of course tried each other's just to make sure the tasted as good as they looked. We had three courses , wine and beer and the total bill was euro for four people .
