Japanika - Herzliya

This is a large sushi restaurant chain with locations all over Israel. The one in Herzliya offers good seating options and a nice variety of Asian cuisine. They also offer vegan options, making it a great choice for a quiet dinner with friends and family.

This restaurant was absolutely terrible. There was no service at all. When we arrived, the hostess told us to find an empty table ourselves. I had to get up, find a waiter, and bring him to our table. We placed our order and waited for 20 minutes with no one coming to help us. While waiting, we looked at other people's dishes and they looked terrible. Fed up, we decided to leave. The hostess stopped us and asked what was wrong, but when she checked, she found that our order had not even been started. Despite her attempts to convince us to stay, we left. The tables were dirty, the waiters were wearing dirty and stained clothes, and the floors were disgustingly dirty. As we left, we saw the kitchen and it was unsanitary on many levels.

The food was good, but the service at the Herzliya location of Japanika was the worst I've encountered in the chain.

Very slow service, and everything took a very long time. But the food was fresh, portions a little small. But fine overall.

What would you get when ordering the Special Japanco Roll with Salmon and '2 additions ' ? See the following photos... The very tiny pink piece in the middle is the Salmon... Why don 't they send a magnifying glass together with the food in the delivery ??? Shame on you Japanica !!!
