I've been a long time since I've been here for lunch (Pre-Pandemic) I'm a lunch mates were HAPPY AND PLEASED in the portion size that corresponds to the cost per meal PERFECTLY. Everyone at the table cleaned their plates. I one of my friends HIGHLY recommend the beer Battered Fish and CHIPS incredibly perfectly cooked and the side salad excellent compliment. Be patient while visiting. They are short personalized waiting times will be long, but SO WORTH IT. Service was also excellent.
The scallops and risotto dish was yummy, but the service was lacking. There were 3 servers in the dining area but they were all talking to a guy in the back of the room, so it took a few minutes until someone came over. He didn't take my name down for the carry-out order and then all 3 servers disappeared (didn't see them again even though people were dining). Luckily I saw a runner bring food out so I went to ask and she didn't even know what it was, so the bartender opened my food to see and then asked if I wanted it? Like yes sir that's my food? I suggested their process would go smoother if they took a name down for to-go orders instead of opening up people's food. I guess he didn't like that (even though every other restaurant does it), cuz he was pretty rude and dismissive after that. Wouldn't have rated it so poorly but I had 3 interactions with 3 different staff members and they were all pretty bad ngl
Overcooked chicken which didn?t taste like Parmesan crusted chicken, buns for my sons burger were like hockey pucks, fresh fruit was great, chicken tenders overcooked and dry. Definitely not worth the money they charge which was $50.00.
The food was pretty good, but the service was unnecessarily slow for a restaurant that was less than half full. If they were understaffed, would have been nice to know that... but we were ignored by the bartender, who served everyone in the bar area other than us: mind you, there were only 7 people in the bar area. Maybe Sundays just aren't their day?????
