Hernando Point Public Use Area

A nice place to do the lake! We use this area to launch our boat. The boat ramp is very nice with a sandy beach near by so you can beach up your boat to climb on board. The bathrooms with handicap stall) are very well kept clean. The area to walk down to the beach needs the grass cut but its possible that we were there on an off day because I have seen it before and it looked very different. There are picnic tables around and a marked swimming area. For us its the closest lake to put our boat in but this lake is also used as a fishing lake and they have the Delta Sailing Club that uses for regattas.If you're in the area stop by and you won't be far from Hernando Square for eateries and shopping.

They say it could be 7-10 years before damn is fixed and lake filled back up but plenty of rain water in it now just so wild to see it like this still a beautiful place to camp or just take a ridePlayground: SwingsRestrooms: Very clean and cleaned mon-fridayDog-friendliness: Animal friendlyPicnic area: One at every camp site

Kinda secluded place, large lake when it’s not drained. (I was the mid December) Spaces are pretty level. I’d go back.

Very nice campground on Arklabutla Lake just south of Memphis, TN. Sewer connections at most sites make for excellent convenience. No showers or laundry facilities here. Nice people!

Nice park beach aréa still closed,big level sights,water sewar electric. and safe police in the park and ranger.
