The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, but the food was outstanding. The service was also excellent.

I stopped by for happy hour and dinner. The cocktails during happy hour were surprisingly good for well liquor, and the $1 oysters were excellent. However, things took a turn after that. I ordered a ribeye cooked medium rare (as one should). While it was indeed cooked perfectly to that specification, the cut of meat was tough and lacked flavor. It wasn’t well marbled, resulting in mediocre taste and below-average tenderness. The side of Brussels sprouts was slightly overcooked in my opinion, but still quite tasty.

I’ve visited S&W numerous times, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere on this particular day, which was a Wednesday, just so you know. The natural sunlight flooded the restaurant, making it incredibly inviting with the vibrant colors and textures in the decor. The food was outstanding, from the dollar oysters on the happy hour menu to the potbelly and ribeye, along with the mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts! Isaac was an excellent host and server! And I can’t forget to mention that the Old Fashioneds were also perfect.

We stumbled across this beautiful restaurant in Hermosa Beach and couldn’t be happier, food service drinks and atmosphere were 100% my husband said his steak was one of the best he has had. You have to check this place out

I ordered the short ribs omg great flavor presentation was awesome the food tasted so so good the atmosphere is very welcoming and the service is A1 most definitely will be back for the porter house the wolf creek wine selection was great add to short rib
