My friends and I were visiting Herford for the weekend as it was years since we all met at Harewood Barracks. The Bosna restaurant that was across the road from the camp is now a Greek restaurant and we decided to try Kroatien. It...was excellent! Three of us had Pola Pola, our old favourite and the fourth had jager schnitzel. The food was excellent, the portions large and the service fast and friendly.

We have eaten here on several occasions, my husband always sticks to what he likes which is the liver and is pleased every time he has it as it's cooked to perfection. Portions are generous and there is plentiful of meat with potatoes. Language can...be an issue but after all you are in Germany.
