The Crown Inn Colwall

We headed down to watch the rugby and got a warm welcome from the moment we entered. As no tables were free insight of the rugby the locals quickly created one for us. Beer was good and the blood orange gin was a great suggestion from the lovely bar lady... There was a great atmosphere with everyone being very kind and we look forward to returning soon to play a few darts with Nan!

Renovating nice people very old will be nice when completed keeps a nice range of local beers which is nice.

Don't dismiss this traditional pub. Excellent well kept local ale and very good value meals in the evenings compared to other pubs locally. It was quiet during the week when we visited (unsurprising for early February) but a lovely convivial mix of locals at the weekend.

Good prices, and friendly staff. Nice, relaxing pub. Good value for money. Met some lovely people there, and had a great time!

This is very good place for a bar meal. The menu was significantly different from so many pubs, offering an interesting range at sensible prices. I enjoyed the ‘Breaded Halloumi’ with a salad and other members of our party had delicious sandwiches with fresh bread. The food came promptly served by a charming waitress.
