Mcdonald's Pirro - Heredia

Tried the Chocolate Ice cream in a sugar cone and it was smooth and rich, very tasty. My wife had a Sundae waffle cup with strawberry ice cream and toppings and it was pretty good too.

This store is on the corner across from the church on the central plaza, but all Pops are very much the same. We love the coconut, guanabana, and other tropical fruit flavors and also the cafe! You can go upstairs and have a view of the park it's also less crowded.

Pops is like a Baskin Robbins, tons of flavors and all pretty good. This particular location is a new flagship store, large, open seating, comfortable arm chairs, wifi etc Good spot to get something cold and refreshing while surfing the net too...

This is a national chain so every shop will be the same. Milkshakes, sundaes, and the Tico favorite churchill are all a perfect sweet treat. There are a few better independent shops out there, but you will always find a pops wherever you are in the country.

The taste is really excellent for the Pops Ice cream, we love to go there and order different flavors for all family members, Vanilla Ice Cream, Coconut Ice Cream, Chocolate Milk Shake, etc. Highly recommended when the weather is Hot and humid (almost all year in Costa Rica) but when reach the 90 F, then it is a mandatory stop.
