Sweet Decadence at Locantro

When you walk in and see the range of chocolates, and the size of them for the price, you think WOW. Then you try their chocolates.... They taste like cheap cooking chocolate (at best!), that have been filled with artificial flavours and sugar to make them seem edible. Wouldn't go back there again!

Best Turkish Delight with a dip of chocolate. You can only get it at Locantro. Next visit to make sure I get double the Rocky Road as this was soft yet dense with lots of yummy surprises.

It was a weekday visit but still very busy. Managed to get a table. One hot choc and one english breakfast tea - very nice and quick services. Also a slice of choc cake to share. Note that service was great but I did feel that they seemed a little under staffed and baskets with pre packaged goodies were half empty. I would have bought these if they were there.

Was looking for Devonshire tea and we found it!!! Scones were 10/10 and the service excellent. The only negative is decor a little drab and out of date but enjoyed our afternoon tea. Purchased some yummy chocolates as gift for friends and family, I'm sure they will enjoy.

Visited on a cold autumn day. Delighted to see a fire. Lady who served us was very friendly. Hot chocolate was delicious - as were the takeaway 'bullets' for later. Would definitely visit again to try some of their individual chocolates. Yum!
