GalleyDiner - HEPBURN SPRINGS

We had a quick casual lunch with 3 people. The food was delicious, but the wait was a little long and the prices were a bit high. The waffle fries were a standout, truly excellent!

Don’t even know where to start with. Ended up here only because other places had a huge waiting time. And I guess for a reason. The place is just DIRTY, toilets and kitchen arr gross, food looked and tasted terrible, we all ordered scrambled eggs breakfast and one meal was served with poached eggs instead that were cold and undercooked and tasteless (salt and pepper were not even provided on the tables), the avocado was overripe and rotten at one side.., the other two meals were of the same poor quality and presentation, we couldn’t finished them. After we left our clothes smelt like burnt oil all day and we were praying we don’t get food poisoning from this food and we left $80 there. Avoid this place by all means.

We’ve eaten at the Galley Diner in the past and loved it. Today, really disappointed. I don’t know if they have changed owners or if it is the harsh after effects of Covid on the hospitality trade. Service was friendly enough. The milkshake was quite good (4 out of 5). Now my grandma said if you don’t have something nice to say keep your mouth shut, but fellow patrons be warned. The fried chicken was flavorless and dry. The mac and cheese was clearly pre prepared and microwaved in a plastic take out container which it was then served in. We loved this place previously and hope it can come back to full glory again.

We used to love buying takeaway from Galley but the quality of food has sadly go from bad to worst. Anyway, we decided to give them another chance. We ordered takeaway but found the coleslaw was missing, the chicken was dry but inside is uncooked and chips are dry and soggy. The burger is not worth $20, Basically, we ended up throwing it out. If I had eaten the chicken I could have ended in the hospital. This place has to close down and need a new management and a proper chef. We will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN

Diner was under staffed. Wait time was 50 minutes. Ribs and brisket were chewy. We were very disappointed.
