My wife and I are on a 1-week blitzkrieg shopping trip between Germany and Holland. so far we have traveled 1400km in 4 days and ate in this distance at different locations of different quality. This morning I wanted to relax outside and relax. enjoy a simple, high-quality eating before I meet again on the street. cafe at the woddel fits perfectly with our needs! we have the two for a (2 for 1) breakfast set that we enjoyed in the shade of the garden courtyard. the service was timely and friendly and understood our inability to speak German with their great English. we had a nice conversation with the owner (the name I had forgotten to ask) and were happy to get some recommendations where to go tonight in hamburg. when they go through Henstedt-Ulzburg, we recommend you to swing from this big caffe to breakfast, ice cream or just a afternoon beer.

This morning I wanted to relax outside and enjoy...a simple, high quality meal before hitting the road again. Cafe Am Woddel suited our needs perfectly! We got the Zwei fur Eine for breakfast set which we enjoyed in the shade of the garden courtyard. The service was prompt and friendly and accomodated our inability to speak German with their great English. We had a nice conversation with the owner (whose name I forgot to ask) and were happy to get some recommendations as to where to go tonight in Hamburg. If you find yourself passing through Henstedt-Ulzburg we highly recommend swinging by this great cafe for breakfast, ice-cream or just an afternoon beer

Treffen mit Freunden oder Familie auf einen kurzen Kaffee oder auch etwas länger zum Kuchen oder Brunch.

Der Service, die Einrichtung und auch die selbstgebackenen Kuchen sind ansprechend. Doch leider sind die Betreiber kritik- und beratungsresistent, denn man verzichtet nicht darauf, billigste TK-Ware als Brötchen und Croissants zu servieren. Schade, denn so müssen Sie auf uns als Gäste verzichten.

Ob am Sonntag nach der Kirche oder dem ausschlafen, als Motivation nach einer Radtour, zum Treffen mit Freunden, zum klönen mit der Freundin oder zum gemütlichen Kaffee mit Mann und Hund....Zum Osterbrunch oder einfach nur so.... Es lohnt sich immer für eine kleine Pause zwischendurch
