I have some sushi and it was a little old, so I wish they were smaller batches. The other food was pretty decent. You also need to work on labelling everything bc I saw several things without label.
After a visit to the local botanical garden with our friends, we decided to check out this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. It was our first time there, and we were truly impressed with everything. While there might be some areas for improvement, the sushi bar completely wowed us. The seafood and menu selection were exceptional for a Saturday afternoon. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely return if we get the chance, since we live two hours away. This place is a wonderful find—a real gem in the area.
After we received the food and paid for the takeaway, the rest of us enjoyed the buffet. However, our waitress immediately accused my wife of not paying for her meal. Despite our explanations, she continued to argue until she checked with the reception and confirmed that the payment had indeed been made. For the remainder of our visit, she neglected to clear our drinks. When we got up to leave, she glanced at our bill and remarked about a lack of a tip. I didn’t even have the chance to get my wallet out to offer something. I understand that the waitstaff and chefs may have been tired, but many of us have experience in food service and know how important it is to go the extra mile for customers, no matter how drained we feel. As for the food, it was just mediocre. The chocolate fountain barely functioned, although the fresh fruits were a nice touch. The rice was dry and flavorless, and the beef and broccoli had very little taste, with tough beef that was hard to chew. I would recommend looking for another dining option, as the quality of the food and the service does not justify the cost. My previous reviews reflect this sentiment.
As for the food, it was unappetizing and did not taste good at all; it looked like leftovers from the previous night. Additionally, the bathroom was dirty. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back. This was a terrible experience, and it was both my first and last visit!
If I could set 0 stars, I would. That's the most disgusting buffet I've ever had. Starting from the server we had, my friend was asked if he wanted a refill. The server took his cup and then took plates from the neighboring table. Another client went to her and looked for her table. In the process of leading them to their table, they put my friend?s cup on the muscles that are plated on another customer. The same cup was brought back to the table. My cup still had food items in it when it was first brought to the table. At the Hibachi Station I started with the selection of the Veggies I wanted and pulled out an onion covered with mold. I showed the staff at the station. He looked at it, threw it away, began to pick up more pieces of mold and then brought out new onions. Instead of exchanging the bowls, he put the new onions on the pampered. Many of the food choices were not kept at proper temperatures. For example, items to be served chilled were served warm. Overall a very unpleasant experience. We'll never be back.
