Kabob Place - Henrico

The food was quite good and we really enjoyed it. We ordered the goat kadhai, which came with two tandoori naans and was served on paper plates. However, I felt that it wasn't a complete meal, as we had to order dal and some vegetables separately, and there were no green chilies or onions, which are typically expected in Indo-Pak cuisine. The overall cost ended up being quite high, over $65 for two people, especially since drinks were not included.

I entered the restaurant at 1:50 PM, not paying attention to the hours of operation as I walked in. The staff member on duty was hurriedly setting the silverware, so out of respect, I inquired whether they were closing at 2 PM like several other Indian and Pakistani restaurants do. His response was, "Do you know how to read? The hours are posted outside. Just go look at the sign." I simply replied, "Thank you! You’re very nice!" and decided to leave without placing an order.

I ordered the boneless chicken kabobs, along with rice, naan, spinach, and chickpeas. The spice level was a bit higher than what I usually experience at similar restaurants, but it wasn’t overly salty. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the environment was clean and bright. The food was delicious, the service was quick, and the portion sizes were generous. I’m absolutely stuffed!

I wouldnt even give this place a 1 star, prices are extremely high and they give half a spoon of everything. We ordered paya it was given to us in a cheap plastic bowl ,half filled, and 90% of it was just bones. No substitutions allowed and $15 worth of food cost us almost $40. Not going back, they need to stop being so stingy, never recommending this place to anyone I don't know how they're still in business. ????????

It was our first time trying Kabob Place and we had Lahori Karahi which comes along naan and channa. We also order Chappli kabab and Chicken Sheekh kabab. All the food was freshly made and was delicious. Its says on the menu that karahi almost takes 30-35 min to get ready,its all worth the wait. They have great customer service, their bathroom are clean. Sitting area have decent color of furniture Turquoise blue along with wood and had good lighting. We also wanted to try
