Postero - Hendersonville

First time there. The food was good but not terribly special. The buttermilk battered catfish sandwich was tasty and well prepared, but not my cup of tea. Will try something else next time. The service was excellent. We really liked our helpful and good-natured server. The atmosphere was upscale and pleasant.

This was my second time to eat at Postero?s, the first time was 7 years ago and prior to my writing reviews. Wow! The dining experience has only gotten better. Wait- is that possible?! Somehow, yes! Our meal was fabulous. Our drinks were delicious and creative and our servers were what made everything fluid. We enjoyed a beautiful bottle of Bourgogne and didn?t pass up dessert. Excellent meal, atmosphere, and wait staff. I like a restaurant that does not have salt and pepper shakers on the table. You are encouraged to enjoy the food as seasoned in the kitchen. 3% kitchen fee on each bill allows the chefs and cooks to earn bonuses when the restaurant does well!

Lovely lunch: food was excellent, service attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Best of all, the acoustics allowed comfortable conversation with a long-lost friend for almost 2 hours. And, our lengthy lunch was encouraged, with no attempts to move us out of the door, as we were told, more than once, to stay as long as we wanted. If I 'm in the area again, I 'll definitely return.

Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, but the wait was long and the service was really slow. Food was well plated and looked nice, but the menu was very limited, the entree portions were small, overpriced, and nothing to write home about. $32 will get you 6 oz of ?Meh? steak. Wasn?t impressed enough to go back.
