This is a fantastic local bakery! The chocolate éclairs were the best I’ve ever tasted. We made several important decisions during our two visits while we were in town. They also offer a delicious local coffee. The staff was friendly and attentive on both occasions, and the place was very clean and well-organized.

While the donuts are delicious in the morning and the pastries are decent (if that's your preference), the standout items are the cream puffs, which are quite large, and the pink cookies, which are utterly scrumptious. But let me tell you about the French bread—oh my goodness! It deserves every bit of emphasis and capitalization. I quote this because it’s unlike any French bread I’ve ever had. With a soft golden crust and a delicate, moist interior, it boasts a much gentler texture compared to the crunchy, dry interiors of typical New Orleans-style French bread. I challenge you to get a warm loaf and not just tear into it and eat it on its own. It’s, by far, my favorite non-sandwich bread.
