Biscuits And Bourbon - Henderson

Awful experience! I made reservations a week in advance and received multiple confirmations, including one the day before. However, when I arrived, the hostess informed me that they do not honor reservations. These were made through their own website. This completely ruined our plans!

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It's so charming, and the service was fantastic! I was initially hesitant about a menu centered around biscuits, but every dish was delicious!

We arrived at Biscuits and Bourbon only to find that they had no record of our reservation made through Open Table. Luckily, since it was still early, there were plenty of seats available. The staff were excellent. The bourbon candied pork belly was delicious, but we were disappointed with our biscuits—they were small, hard, and dry, and the gravy was a bit too spicy for our taste. The Apple Arugula Salad was intriguing, though the additional chicken we requested had a bit of a kick to it. The smoked tri-tip was average, and the mac and cheese had a unique smoky flavor. On a positive note, the French fries were very good.

The menu is not your traditional bbq country cooking. It puts an awesome twist on the food items making them unique and tasty. The staff was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu and cooking technique. Max (server) Nick (manager) are an asset to the establishment.

Wow, what an incredible place! This was my first visit, and I was immediately drawn in by the friendly staff and the enticing aroma of smoked meat! Biscuits and Bourbon is actually smoking their dishes on the back patio, and the smell made me incredibly hungry—quickly! We started with some of the best fried green tomatoes I've had since leaving Atlanta, and then I indulged in a plate of ribs and brisket. It was so delicious that I nearly brought tears to my eyes. They offer a variety of sauces to drizzle over the tender meat that practically falls off the bone, as well as an impressive selection of bourbon from around the world. Take my advice: be sure to order dessert and savor your evening at this fantastic spot. It was truly amazing. Thank you, everyone!
