Hempstead Steak Seafood

I discovered this little gem and I highly recommend it! I ordered the grilled chicken, grilled vegetables, grilled shrimp, crab cake, and coleslaw. The seafood was outstanding, and the chicken, vegetables, and coleslaw were fantastic as well. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. I would definitely return!

I always enjoy the fish here, and this time I tried the dirty rice. While it could use a bit more flavor, it was just the right portion, especially with the salad that accompanies it. The waitress was efficient and checked in on us at just the right intervals—not too frequent, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself is nice and clean; it is a bit dark, but I suppose that's part of their ambiance.

My extended family visited this restaurant tonight and had an amazing experience. This was our second family celebration there, and once again, Tasha was our waitress. She truly excels at her job! The food is consistently excellent, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. My young sons love the dishes so much that we have to order them adult portions. While Hempstead may not be the first location that comes to mind for seafood, it definitely should be. The food is fresh and not greasy, and the service is outstanding. We live in Cypress, and my husband chose this restaurant over all the options in the Katy/Cypress area. I have a feeling this will become one of our regular spots. Keep up the great work, everyone!

Wow! My family and I were impressed with the calamari, egg roll appetizers, and the fried catfish and shrimp plates. There was so much food. It was delicious! Kiddos to the cook. Our server, Grace, was amazing. So friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back for more great food and service.

I had a nice experience here. The food (catfish/shrimp), was better than expected. Quite good actually. The service was top grade, and I found the dinning room to be a pleasant place to be. I'll look to eat here again, and I recommend this restaurant.
