Harvester Mallard - Hemel Hempstead

The Mallard is a very good restaurant I used before. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will be back soon.

The staff were helpful but they could do with a gluten free menu, they had an app that the staff could not use so was not sure what I could eat

I am not happy that we are not allowed to help ourselves to the salad. I felt when I asked for more, I was being judged. I did understand when covid was at it’s worst, but now it is time to get back to normal. I had got up to the salad bar as I had forgotten somthing was the only one at the salad bar. A lady came with three children. She started helping herself. The server said, I have to do that. I said can you do me please and she said no, I’ll do the lady with the children first. ????????‍

Was pleasantly surprised, food has vastly improved the waitress was very accommodating and helpful. The decor has been updated there was plenty of room between tables.

Went here to Celebrate my 52nd Birthday would of liked the staff to sing happy birthday may be a suggestion as booked as a birthday Had a lovely time service was exceptional and he was very polite and knowledgeable
