Sushibar Wine - Helsinki Suomi

Delicious poke! A little bit pricey for the amount you get, but it was very tasty. You pay more for the experience and the dark, yet warm and classy ambience. Highly recommend for nights when you feel like treating yourself!

I dined at Sushibar Wine recently on a Sunday in June with a group of Yelpers. The location in Kamppi is great walkable from metro, tram, or bus. If I understood correctly, they don 't take reservations or at least not for this particular Sunday. This was a sushi only visit our table shared the ISO menu with 20 pieces, then a few different rolls on the side. The food was great, but I was disappointed in the beer selection I sipped two bottled imports. I thoroughly enjoyed Sushibar Wine solid dining experience. I 'm knocking off a star for not taking reservations, the tiny setting, and limited beer selection. That said, I look forward to my next visit!

I have been sitting here close to an hour with a minimal order of sushi for two and it's still not ready! This is too slow to come back! I am not sure about their quality of food yet but service is horrible! Update(or better say live update) : just got some items and it's amongst worst sushi I I have ever had! Smelly fish, bad cuts and overall it's really bad! I absolutely can not recommend this.

Definately one of the best sushi places in Helsinki is the sushibar wine. Located at Kamppi Square right in the center it has a really nice interior. It is not too big which makes you feel comfortable there right away. But coming to the most important: The sushi here is great! They really know how to make the rice exactly the way it should be. But also the combinations are good. Try for example the delicious Suomi Sushi or the sushi with rice paper. For finding the right wine ask one of the waiters or try the recommendation on the menu! The organic wines are worth a try. Shushibar wine is quite a popular place these days so try to make a reservation before going there.

Great little sushi place in Helsinki. Had dinner on my first night here. Staff was attentive and the place has a very relaxed atmosphere. They have the standard japanese sushi's and sashimi's, but there are also some really nice ones with a twist. Of course the interior is one with scandinavian design it, iittala, marimekko and hay are well represented. Will def. go here some more nights
