Rios Barbacoa Helotes, Tx

We ordered 13 pounds of barbacoa for a birthday party they were so accommodating , friendly and professional! The barbacoa was absolutely perfect!

The line was out the door on a Sunday morning at 9am. Always a good sign. I dreaded the wait but to my surprise- the staff moved the line at a steady pace. I was at least 20 in line and was out the door in about 30 minutes or less with. Hot tamales. Fresh salsa and of course BARBACOA and a Big Red soda. Don't let the line discourage you from trying this place out. The staff is friendly and used to serving big lines !!! They do a great job !!!

I've only had barbacoa from a few places in San Antonio. I'll say... it had been really tough to find a good spot until I tried the barbacoa from this Rios location. The friendly/helpful service, savory barbacoa, and yummy salsas made this experience the best in town. Moving forward, I will be purchasing my barbacoa from this location only. 5 stars easily!

Barbacoa was okay, the flour tortillas are extremely thick, if your into that go head and grab it.
