Club Helensvale

As for the steak, my friend requested a medium 250g rump, but what we got was incredibly overcooked, and half of it was charred. There was barely any salad or chips accompanying it. We both ordered Coca-Cola, which was so watered down it was barely drinkable. Additionally, my sister ordered the honey chicken special, but there was no honey or chicken in it. My friend’s sister tried the chicken schnitzel and said it was blander than mayonnaise, with a taste resembling the sauce. I highly recommend avoiding this place unless you enjoy disappointing meals. My friend even decided to become a vegetarian after trying his steak.

The food here is truly disappointing. It seems to get worse with each visit. Tonight, I ordered a rare steak, but it arrived cooked to medium. My husband requested medium rare, and his also came out closer to rare. Both steaks were tough and rubbery—absolutely horrible. As for the menu changes, it’s just a laugh; the food options never really change and are quite mundane. Unfortunately, I think we need to stop coming to this place. We're no longer impressed at all.

I stopped by for lunch and found a well-organized club with both café and dining room options.
