Beignets Lattes - Helena

The beignets at this restaurant were slightly undercooked. I visited twice and both times they were thick and doughy, lacking in flavor. If they don't have good beignets at Cafe du Monde, they may be worth a try. They are not terrible, just not great. I do appreciate that they are open on Sunday mornings, as it can be difficult to find fresh baked goods on that day. If they can perfect their recipe, they have the potential to make a lot of money, as I am only aware of one other place in the area that sells beignets. Additionally, the beignets are reasonably priced and could be sold at a cheaper rate. It is unclear if the issue lies with the boiler, temperature settings, or the recipe itself. I may give them another try to see if they have improved. It is important to make sure the beignets are fully cooked before eating them.

I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! The hot chocolate and iced chai tea were the perfect complement to the warm, fresh, and delicious beignets. I am eagerly looking forward to returning.

I am new to Helena and my fiancé and I are loving the local shops. We have become obsessed with the coffee, beignets, and the friendly staff at this restaurant! The owner is fantastic and we can't wait to bring our friends here. This place is a hidden gem, perfect for locals and tourists alike. Highly recommend!

Really great place. truly, I've never been in it (I'm still going through the drive-thru), but the coffee is fantastic, the beignets taste great, and the whole staff is super nice. I will never support a local cafe spot like this!

For it to be drive-thru only service was exceptionally quick.
