Schlemmermeyer - Heidelberg

Absolutely fabulous food here. Sausages and quiches! However, very expensive but worth every penny. Feels like an institution in Heidelberg - and for good reasons.

High quality luxury food products, well priced and friendly service. Especially nice to see the dairy and tapas products separated from the meats. Also very tasty takeaway sandwiches.

This place has I believe every type of German meat or cheese that you can buy. Pickles and jars of delights line the packed shelves in this very popular and very small shop.

Curry sausage with french fries is the best! And only 4.5€ for that amount, not so bad at all. There is no table or seat so you must stand at the counter.

Stopped by for take away tongue and land jäger very possibly the tastiest of both we had on the trip. The servers did not speak a lot of English but a little German and pointing gets you by.
