Visited this restaurant with two friends, We received a great service and a super delicious food in a quiet and fine ambiance. We were there at about pm and the restaurant was almost silent..with just few people sitting away. The place has an easy...access for wheelchairs. We really liked the place and the food and highly recommend it
As british with ethnic roots of the Indian subcontinent (sri lanka) it may not be surprising that I am a fan of “worn” and I have the privilege to enjoy the Indian cuisine world. but since the move to deutschland in search of a good curry was quite difficult. in contrast to the united kingdom there is no full of good curry houses and certainly not to be able to praise. the moghul is not for anyone who appreciates real Indian cuisine. they are courts without any real relation to the names of the curries they do to be. this in itself would not be a problem if the food was still delicious. but, instead, it can only be described as average tasting, and certainly not calculated in anyway on the prices. also the service was functional at best. the very good naanbrot was the only thing that this restaurant had from everyone, except good prospects for the flow for the on the balcony or indoor window seats. save their money and get comparable “Indian” food somewhere else for less, or much better kitchen for the same price.
This Indian restaurant is located in an artzhaus where I had taken a friend for a date. we had a selection of three restaurants, Italian, international and Indian for lunch on Monday. we have been plucked for this Indian and were very happy with our choice....We had both dishes from the daily menu, a chili chicken and a lamb. Both were delicious and served with rice. I will be in a few weeks in heidelberg and another visit is sure
We were looking for a restaurant option on the northern side of the river and decided to try Moghul's as the setting looked lovely. The decoration is traditional Indian, very clean and has nice lighting for dinner. The food was generally good, although I will...say that even after asking for a few of the dishes to be spicy we were disappointed with the level of spice served (Chicken Tikka had no spice to it whatsoever). I'm sure they do this for people who aren't used to or don't like spicy food but it would be nice if they could offer options for those who do. The prices were reasonable, but the portions for the main courses are smaller than one typically expects at an Indian restaurant. I saw a few reviews saying this so I know we aren't the only ones who feel this way.
