Metropolis Heidelberg

We had reserved for 8 people, only came with 4! No problem! Service very friendly, food top,Ambiente very appealing! We like to come back!

I can't say anything about the Metropolis. I had a table for New Year's Eve for 2 at 20:00. We were hungry in the evening, too, and we were on the right-hand side because in the confirmation email our table was kept free for 5 minutes. We were there on time 10 minutes before. And what do we see? It's closed. Really great as it is also very easy to find a good alternative to New Year's Eve. The collaboration between Metropolis and OpenTable did not work at all. We then endured the Cavalli by chance and can eat delicious. But I don't think I'll ever book on OpenTable again. And the Metropolis can stay on me now. Honestly I don't write any bad reviews, but that was really super annoying. We wanted to experience a nice day in Heidelberg, eat well and enjoy New Year's Eve. But this experience almost broke it. If you already offer a service and make booking tables easier, it should also work. And it's absolutely not.

Restaurant was almost empty inside. Outside was strong windy but some guests. The ambience is super very chic and stylish. Great Manko: food is underground bad! The homemade Limo was unbelievably sweet and the two metropolis burgers just didn't taste. There was a raw (unmelted) slice of melted cheese on the meat. I've never seen anything like that at a burger. When I asked, it was said “that the other guests want so!” Conclusion: Ambiente top Essen unfortunately not , from us no question.

Super Brunch. Too bad this offer is hardly used. We would have liked more Mitesser!
