Ikoi

The kindergarten is out, so the girls and I decided to eat a Japanese lunch. ikoi heidelberg offers a "All-you-can-eat" lunch buffet for 13.80 € per adult and 9.80 € per child (my 3-year-old has eaten for free). the menu is very diverse - for example, there are several species of nigiri, maki, temaki, sashimi, kushiyaki, grilled and roasted seafood, vegetarian dressings, including a selection of nudges and rice dishes. Unfortunately, both the ice with black sesame and the green tea were sold out, so we decided for a few fruits to dessert. the service is fast and efficient – you can either operate on the boards that run around the conveyor belt, or their orders on a given ipad mini. they may have 15 items per order/stop, and there is a pause of 8 minutes between each order/stop. between my girls and me we tried 18 different articles. judge? the quality of eating is good and brings appetit with!

Eating is very good, great choice and everything they can eat. I found the grilled garnel and snuggle very tasty. her sushi was pretty ok. very convenient to order by ipad, practically no waiting between the dressed.

I'm not a sushi fan and stick to the cooked menu and not to the all-you-can-eat possibility. the latter would be a good business if they were really hungry. eating was quite good and was offered in small tapas ports, so they can choose and mix, in an unforeseen order. despite the fact that the restaurant was quite full, the service was fast (I don't like to use the food carousel), but each time has served us another person. not bad for a fast meal.

We regularly come by, usually once the week. As described in previous reviews, there is à la carte order and all-you-can-eat offer (sushi ribbon, iPad order). the All-you-can-eat lunch costs about 15 € and dinner approx. 25 € per person, excluding alcohol-free drinks, including dessertbuffet with ice with sesame and green tea taste, cake and sometimes fresh pineapple. the difference between evening and midday offer is that more dishes are available: therefore I prefer to dinner, baked salmon is delicious! alga salad, roasted seafood, suppening and various hot meal supplement classic sushi (rough salmon also includes my favorite, see picture). the prices are approx. €55 with softdrinks and all-you-can-eat for 2 people.

I was a couple of friends there to have the evening buffet and was always surprised by the variety of dishes, not only sushi, but all kinds of Japanese dressed. some are not as good as others, but for the greatest part it was very good though not delicious. I always finished eating with their delicious ice cream, green tea and sesame, original, surprisingly delicious, I strongly recommend to try them, I cannot get enough of the sesame ice cream.
