This is a small jewel where the locals meet and eat. the beautiful at this place is that it is far away from the crowds in the heidelberger old town, but close enough to enjoy the evening relaxed. the food was excellent, I had to carve about three or four different carvings there and it was excellent. if they are looking for a picturesque, remote, locally inspired restaurant or a place where they can only drink something, I would recommend this hotel

This restaurant was our main support during my last holiday in heidelberg. huge portions of authentic German food. we never went hungry to home. I would recommend it because of the atmosphere and good food.

Our host in heidelberg led us here to a hearty and unpretentious eating. began with glasses red house pilsner and then ordered a selection of typical German dresses, including an excellent pfeffersteak with late zle as well as dishes with ham, lamb and kartoffeln. located on the other side of the river from the old town, it is off the hectic of the main road and has a dark and cozy atmosphere that has probably not changed much in the last two centuries.
