Best Currywurst - Heidelberg

I went in there because I didn't want a mcd or a döner. until the order it took some time, I had the impression the staff had to settle first urgent private things. the duration of the preparation I found for a snack also a little long, but still bearable. the currywurst with pommes I found very appealing and tasty. for 5,50 euro I was very tired.

I was in januar to visit and must confess that the colleague left a very unfriendly impression with me. no smiling or even a greeting. that was also not just the definition of "best currywurst" .

That is beautiful. there is no big offer. curry sausages in beef/skin or vegan, curry sauces in different sharpness, frikadelle, hot-dog, pommes from normal kartoffels or sweet potatoes and what to drink. everything is wonderfully clear.Also everything is done quickly without chic. The prices are typical of Heidelberg. But it's okay.But I'm about the ordered currywurst with Pommes.The currywurst I had was a normal bratwurst. that was okay. could have been a bit darker, but that's mug at a high level.The consistency of the curry sauce was, personally, too thin. from the sharp she was fine. The main problem was the pommes. even if it sounds bad now, it shouldn't come around. it was the 08/15 standard pots from the bag. also no longer bad if they had been nice crispy. they were lying much too stubborn in the dish that taking up the hint was very complicated. the spice was very good, if not too good, meant much of the pommes you did not taste anymore. the pepper salt mixture was too dominant in my opinion. all in all, the title "best currywurst" is not correct. the load is well maintained and neat. no unnecessary snuck and the staff very friendly. Unfortunately no.

So far in heidelberg the best curry sausage I have eaten. original without pelle. the sauces in different degrees of sharpness are very tasty.

I don't know if they are the best, as their name already says, but with this name, it's impossible for a currywurst lover not to visit them. although I tried better, they were very saturating and not bad all.
