Since several years an almost daily starting point in heidelberg. a traditional bakery that produces all their baked goods with tasty craftsmanship. excellent cake, delicious small baked goods and some specialties. for lunchtime snack there are handmade rolls and bagels and various quiches. the personal is nice.

The bakery grimm in the heidelberger old town is something that there is hardly any: a real craft here is made everything the same...no baked teiglings no conveience witness.The tasty cake, the pulpits, the quiches and the walnut storks....toll.

Here is still baked in the house, all by hand, even the pulpit still by hand. the backstube is small, the results amazing. not a mac bag, not a glare tradition with pseudo-handwritten printlets designed by advertisers, but simply the essential thing to expect from a good baker: backhandwerk, as you know it - with luck - perhaps from a last century. Definitw the best tents in the city! authentic German cakes and torts, excellent and cosy brot. thanks to the grims!

Small family businesses, no chain, no franchise, owners bake. Tastes good! Friendly service, good advice on ingredients, etc. If not a corona, then sometimes I take a breakfast standing there and maybe a small conversation.
