Jack's - Heflin

While there are Jack's restaurants scattered throughout the South, nothing compares to the experience of dining at the one in Heflin. You truly can't appreciate the difference until you've been served by employees who are passionate about their work and genuinely care for their customers. The Heflin location even tops our list over Huddle House or Cracker Barrel. If you're looking to beat the summer heat, be sure to treat yourself to their delicious, hand-scooped ice cream or milkshakes, just like they used to make 40 years ago! Their biscuits are among the best you'll find anywhere, and after traveling across the United States, we can confidently say we know our biscuits! A special shoutout to the amazing Saturday morning crew, and the gentlemen at the round table who greet you with friendly smiles when you walk in. Just remember to arrive early on Saturdays, as finding a table might become a challenge! Everyone in town knows this Jack's is the best one around.

I waited in line for 25 minutes and still didn't receive my entire order. I had to wait an additional 20 minutes to get the rest. By the end, I was frustrated and left without the food I had already paid for. The service was lacking.

We made the trip to the restaurant, and he ordered a Bacon Ranch Big Jack. We had to remind them because they forgot it. Once we got home, we found we had received a Big Jack instead. The order at the entrance was correct; we just didn’t receive it. Date: August 6, 2022.

The checkout was super friendly! I live in Georgia, so I always love to visit Jacks when I am in Alabama. The food was just as good as my last visit to another place. Fries Sandwich was so hot that I had to cool it before eating. It was such a wonderful wait. I will definitely go away for 2 hours, just for my childhood adulthood fave!

Ok...I have a problem here. Now don't get me wrong, I Love me some chicken, especially Jack's Chicken. But what the heck is wrong with the Jack's in Tallapoosa??? Went in there at 8:45 pm on any night, they have no chicken!! Wings and thighs only...maybe!! Crazy!! So forget about getting out of church around 8:30pm on Wednesday and want a chicken leg or breast. Ain't gonna happen. Alright Jack's, y'all gotta do better than this!! Just saying!!
