Przekaż informację zwrotną“Come, let’s go to dinner with the children tonight” said my wife’s statement on Saturday morning. The anvized flame cake farm in Heidelberg was contacted by e-mail and after not even two hours it was clear that this idea was deleted, completely booked on Saturday night. After all, there was a feedback and an alternative was offered with the “new” flame cake farm in Hambrücken. During the trip to Gastroguide I noticed the Casa del Sol in the week, a Spanish restaurant in the former premises of the Italian Ciro in the club house of the Heddesheim tennis club, opening sometime between the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015. At Gastroguide not yet rated and registered as an Italian 6 months ago, a little bit more care could sometimes not harm the guides, the homepage shows an overview of menu, specialties, catering, a first visual insight into the restaurant, opening hours and the award for the Schlemmerblock Award 2016. Okay, you can stand as you want, it doesn't have to stop right away, especially as the name of the owner Ana Gracielle Da Silva Köhn sounds to Spain and Spain also for child-friendliness, which made reviews on other portals hope for at least when eating in contrast to the service. Vamos... Casa del Sol is located in the sports centre of Heddesheim, surrounded by excavation lake, ice rink, football field, sports halls and indoor swimming pool. Parking spaces, both in their own and in the surrounding area, are sufficient as long as it does not reach the excavator lake with sunshine and 35° half Rhine Neckar Nord and Mannheim. The Casa del Sol is accessible to both the guest room and the covered terrace, but the toilets are in the basement. Access to the guest room in the club’s home is made by a slightly appealing steel door, but this is for me good for reasons of security of burglary in the sports grounds. A further door allows you to reach the guest room, which with a flexible table arrangement offers space between two and more tables of good 50 guests and faces the bright counter. The guest room is grey-flowing, the walls are painted cream-coloured, the columns are kept in a darker red shade, discreet images as accents on the walls, the spacious window front towards the terrace and tennis courts leaves light in the room. The medium-brown wooden tables covered with white tablecloths, red deck napkins, red paper napkins, a tealight in the glass and cutlery with the colourlessly identical chairs seem pleasant without radiating a real atmosphere of a Spanish bodega. On the one hand, the oven on the wall opposite the counter has a homely effect, but in turn loses charm, since seat cushions are stored next to and below it. We are in a club house, therefore 3 for the ambience. The reservation by phone worked well for the number of people and the desired time, our name during reservation was incorrectly reproduced by the German-speaking counterpart on the phone, corrected by me, again falsely but identically reproduced, corrected by me again and again falsely but identically reproduced. Okay, as someone once said, names are sound and smoke, we're talking about something different tonight, the wrong name could be remembered at least well, but the entry could be better. We were greeted upon our arrival by a female service after a short waiting period and asked if we had reserved. After our pseudonym, our own name did not want to be listed, after some leaves was found in the reservation book at the counter, our service led us to the table. The cards were handed over, asked if we would like to order drinks or want to look first, there was no reference to the daily dish offered on the slate boards on the wall. After a pleasant waiting period the order was picked up, a child portion on two plates was no problem after consultation with the kitchen due to the size of the portion. The demand whether we should order the different tapas one after the other in a two-pack or the same together was answered with a “Order calmly together, we will always deliver two”, in reality all dishes came at the same time to the table, two tapas more and we would have had to stack the plates at the table. After more guests populated the place in the course of the evening, there were more and more inmutations from some tables due to long waiting times for food and beverages, even in our beverage reordering my wife said, “It’s already standing on the counter and evaporating”. The service is nice and friendly but as soon as the place is occupied with more than 50% is apparently overwhelmed. The barman then pilgers from table to table to apologise for the waiting period does not testify to the interplay of kitchen and service. All in all 2 for the service, that's better. Although and laughing at the two daily dish Rumpsteak on the slate table, we decide from the menu in the dark brown artificial leather cover for different tapas and once Spaghetti Bolognese € 4.50 from the children's card. The children's card includes five dishes and is „solo para los ninos“, adults and children from 13 years old pay 3 Euros for these dishes. In addition to the drinks, a Hugo for € 4.50 and a Rioja López de Haro Crianza 0.2l for proud € 5,30, a Caribbean soup was ordered as a tomato soup with coconut milk and ginger lemons for 3,90 euros as an appetizer and six tapas. The tapas consisted of Pan con Aioli – Spanish garlic cream with bread € 2,90 , Patatas Bravas – crispy carrot pieces with spicy mayonnaise € 3,90 , Albóndigas – spicy minced meatballs in tomato sauce € 4,90 , Champinones al Ailoi – fresh mushrooms fried in garlic oil € 3,90 , broche The spaghetti for the kids visually made a good impression and tasted both, the Bolognese seemed self-made. It would have been nice if the spaghetti had been dressed in the kitchen on two plates, so there was a second plate and we had to take over the distribution at the table itself, well, the deck nap was already red and not white before. The tomato soup in a stone saucer served on a white plate decorated with cocktail tomatoes and rocket leaves tasted harmoniously. A beautiful tomato flavor, ginger, lemongrass and coconut milk was tasted out without which an aroma was too dominant, which was fit and was a good entry – 3.5 . Our ordered tapas unfortunately all came to the table at the same time and not as agreed one after the other, which makes the evaluation a bit difficult as the warm dishes at the end were noticeably cold. The Pan con Aioli were four thick slices of baguette coated with garlic cream, you can eat, it didn't blow me from the stool, somehow the cream had something from Mayo out of the glass with knobi taste – 2 . The Patatas Bravas is browned with discreet spices, the piquant mayonnaise surprisingly red and without mayonnaise proportion, here the salsa de la Casa was probably included, tomatoy fruity and discreet in the spice – 3 . Champinones al Ailoi, small, fresh mushrooms were roasted and grilled with beautiful garlic flavor, a pestoli Personally, I don't find that so tingling when a small bowl is in the oil I want to add with bread – 3 . The Brocheta de Pollo pikant were four chicken skewers, from the meat not dry yet, but close to it, the “piedge” can be wiped, both in meat and in sauce, which was probably again the Salsa de la Casa – 2 . The spicy then went a little bit off the Albóndigas, no, the four chopped balls weren't, but it's also a bit different, but the tomato sauce was all right but also no longer, the Albóndigas of a blue-yellow discounter at the week of Spain didn't taste anything, and I didn't want to do anything here – 3 . Finally, it should be next to another Rioja and a Caipirinha of the Jamón Serrano. Four pieces partly badly peeled and also tasteless melon wrapped with a slice of Serranoschinken. The ham was not only dry but already hard at some places and, in my opinion, has waited a little longer in the cut state in the air for its use – 1 . I come in a computer at dinner for 2.5 stars, I would like to round up for 3 stars, but since false products were also supplied as ingredients at the tapas I leave it at 2.5. There was nothing to complain about in cleanliness, neither in the guest room nor in the toilets, there was something to blame for us, 3 . 61.10 Euro cost us this evening, actually not really much money when two adults go with two children food, but here is also the Bon des Las Tapas from GER next to the laptop. If I compare prices, service, ambience and food I don't get more than 2.5 out at the PLV. The conclusion of the overall impression can therefore only be read: 2 – hardly again, Germersheim then lies at Nahe. 1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – necessarily back to kitchen trip.
