"The Chinese food here is of excellent quality, and the service is friendly with plenty of vegetarian options available. Dining choices in Heathcote are quite limited, so I decided to give this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service that assisted me with selecting vegetarian options, and my pick-up order was ready promptly. The ambiance was inviting, with a nice mix of diners enjoying their meals throughout the restaurant. The food was well-prepared and tasted fantastic."

Original Review: Their fried rice is excellent—just like it used to be. It's beautifully cooked with a smoky flavor and doesn't have the excessive moisture that some places have. I would rate the fried rice a solid five stars. The vegetables in a light garlic sauce were fresh, crispy, and offered a great variety. My friends ordered the steak in black bean sauce, which I found a bit salty, but the meat was very tender. #LetsGuide

The food and service were excellent, but the carpets really need a thorough steam cleaning. Walking on sticky carpets is not ideal.

The food is good at my dinner spot, Heathcote. However, I noticed that there’s an extra charge of $2 for tofu, which makes vegan dishes more expensive than meat options—this doesn’t seem right. On the bright side, the tofu is delicious and flavorful. My go-to orders are the satay vegetables and tofu, the vegetables and tofu in plum sauce with cashews, and the veggie fried rice (vegan, without egg). The veggie spring rolls are also vegan and are delightful, with mung beans inside. Just a heads-up: if you want to check if another sauce is vegan, be aware that the Schezwan sauce contains oyster sauce and is not vegan.
