Angela's - HAZLET

I was disappointed to find that the restaurant menu didn't feature all the options available at the pizza shop. Some members of our party had looked online and were hoping to order items that were listed there but not available on the restaurant menu. On a positive note, the service was excellent—very friendly staff who made us feel right at home. I appreciated that there was live music, and since we were seated away from it, it allowed for easy conversation. I think being too close to the music might have made it difficult to talk, so this worked out well. Unfortunately, there were significant issues with the cooking. While the quality of the ingredients was good, the dishes were poorly prepared. The chicken was overcooked, and the shrimp was undercooked. Before considering another visit to the restaurant side, I might opt to try the pizza instead to give them a second chance. I'm hopeful that our experience was just an isolated incident and that the food in the restaurant is typically better than what we encountered during our visit.
