Waffle House - Hazlehurst

I cannot comment on the food since my daughter and I were never served. We were not greeted or even acknowledged at all. Our expectations were low as we were simply hungry. If only I had checked the 2-star Yelp review beforehand, we would not have wasted our time.

I was given plastic utensils because the waiter claimed to be too tired to fetch the metal ones. Trying to eat a steak with a plastic fork and knife was not ideal. The restaurant was so cold that we could see our breath. The waiter couldn't even turn off the AC because it was locked. I won't be returning.

The restaurant had poor time management, dirty work areas, and food cooked improperly. The staff seemed clueless on how to make a BLT, even after asking for instructions twice. Our food was misplaced on the wrong plates and we witnessed mistakes with orders at two other tables. There was little effort made for courtesy or accuracy, making for a complete dining disaster.

The service at this restaurant is terrible, the place is dirty, and the employees are unprofessional. They didn't even take my order and when they finally did, they got it wrong. I had to wait for over an hour while they served other customers.

We had an excellent experience at Waffle House. The food was great as usual, and the customer service was excellent. We were warmly greeted with a smile, and our food was served quickly and tasted delicious. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back again. Despite any previous issues mentioned in other reviews, our experience was flawless.
