Big Blue Smokehouse - Hazard

We recently dined at 420 Lane in Danger and were impressed by the beautiful restaurant and its location. The menu had a great selection, but unfortunately, our meal did not meet expectations. The prime rib sandwich we ordered was dry, but we were pleased that it came with jus.

I ordered the brisket sandwich and found it to have only two meager slices of meat, but it still tasted good. It was served with Brussels sprouts covered in a delicious sweet sauce. The service was slow and disorganized. My coffee was lukewarm and it took 10 minutes to finally receive cream and sugar, but by then I had already finished my coffee. The items were never taken off the table. Despite the excellent meat and friendly staff, the overall experience was lacking.

This place needs to be reported! Cross contamination with meat, unsanitary kitchen, cooks are HORRIBLE, and bad management. Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him! This place is gonna make someone deathly sick!

Food was excellent. I ordered the brisket platter with shaved Brussel sprouts and broccoli casserole. Meat was very moist and tender. Sides were very flavorful. My coworkers liked their meals as well. One of them got the nachos and the other got the sampler meat platter.

Try the pretzels and beer cheese! They were yummy! Great service, food, and great bar selection. We can't wait to go back!
