Pupuseria Y Taqueria Los Cocos

The food at this restaurant is better than Cabañas pupuseria. I hope they continue to maintain the authentic Salvadoran flavor.

The restaurant is clean and it appears that they expanded during the pandemic. There are plenty of tables to dine at and a restroom for customers. There are also two TVs mounted on the walls. I tried the fresh orange juice and it was delicious. I recommend asking for ice if you prefer it cold. The horchata was good, although a bit too sweet for my taste, it paired well with the spicy salsa. I ordered the platanos fritos con todo (with beans and crema) and it was delicious. The pupusas were also very tasty. I had the Chicharron (2), Revueltas (2), Loroco y queso (1), and frijoles y queso (1) pupusas, along with curtido y red salsa, and they were flavorful. I will definitely be returning to try the soup and yucca fritos if they have them. Unfortunately, they didn't have a take-home menu available so I couldn't take a picture of it, but I will be sure to do so next time.

Perhaps they could consider offering smaller plate options with healthier salad choices and lower prices.

This was my first time at Pupuseria y Taqueria Los cocos and they have really authentic salvadorean food, their pupusas are delicious and they have a really fast service. We didn't have to wait to get a table on a Friday night. Make sure to order their horchata! It was really good.
