Mokas - Hays

Pass it by. I don’t know why this is a chain or franchised. It was horrible and I had high hopes because there isn’t much in Hays. Go to the local coffee shop in town. Much better service and coffee. Issue was it was Sunday and the local place is closed. I have never seen a microwave in the lobby of a restaurant. Right next to the napkins. If that doesn’t scream pre-made frozen food, I’m not sure what does. Why would you advertise that?

We went in and placed our order to go. We got our coffee right away. S few minutes later we got the latte. We waited for another twenty minutes for a smoothie and grilled cheese. We finally went up and asked for our money back. The grilled cheese was in the window just waiting to be picked up. We were in line for over ten minutes and no one even attempted to get the grilled cheeses. Cashier struggled to tell me the correct price. I got ice chai and it was warm.

30 min in drive through for a medium latte. No thanks.

Not good. Came in for the chai, but they were out. All other hot drinks were coffee. Charged $3 for a soft drink, then didn't have any straws long enough for the styrofoam soft drink cups. Boxes stacked right inside the door. We were just passing through town and wanted to support small businesses, but will definitely pass on this one should we come back this way again.
