While traveling home from Oklahoma to Colorado we saw a new Fuzzys in Hays and were so excited! However the experience left me rather upset. It was not busy, I walked up and ordered right away, but had to wait over 20 minutes for my food. (At very busy locations I have never had to wait that long) After inquiring about my order one of the employees took a taco out of the bag and around the corner...sus! Then I get to the car and am checking the order, the queso was missing the toppings, and one of the tacos looked like an animal attacked it. Still hungry from a long day of traveling I went to eat one of my breakfast tacos. I love places that have breakfast all day menus, but Fuzzy's just because you serve breakfast all day doesn't mean you serve potatoes that have been sitting around ALL DAY! Needless to say I won't be back to this location, and I hope fellow travelers read this and think twice as well!
On both occasions, the place was empty, which didn't set a great tone. The person taking my order had no enthusiasm and seemed disinterested in being there. I ordered a burrito, chips and queso, and a margarita. Unfortunately, the queso was cold and hard, and the chips were just the crumbles from the bottom of the bag. When my burrito arrived, it was cold and soggy. I considered asking someone to heat it up in the microwave, but I couldn't find anyone to ask. I sat at the bar but never saw a bartender or anyone else for that matter. I would have enjoyed another drink, but no one came to check on me. The atmosphere was lacking, and with “Dancing with the Stars” playing on the TVs—except for two in the corner that were out of view—it didn't make for a pleasant experience. I was in town for business, and when I told my hotel manager about my dinner at Fuzzy's, she remarked, "Nobody goes to Fuzzy's; it's the worst place in town." I typically don’t write reviews or complain, and this is only my second review ever. However, since this was my second disappointing visit with a similar outcome as the first, I felt compelled to share my experience. I've been to other Fuzzy's locations in Colorado, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Texas, and I've never had a worse meal or experience at a restaurant. The only redeeming quality was the margarita I enjoyed.
I ordered catering from Fuzzy Taco for a work event, and they delivered the food and set it up in our break room. The portions were very generous, and the food was delicious—everyone loved the build-your-own tacos. We will definitely be ordering from them again!
First time ever eating here was about 2 weeks ago. I ordered the Faijita beef quesadilla it was 100% amazing the staff was super friendly the Atmosphere is amazing I'll definitely be back.
Great portions. Makes most of the locations in Fort Worth look bad. The food is good, well seasoned, and tasty. Very similar to how most of the Fuzzy's shops in the Fort Worth area used to be. Thanks for resetting the bar!
